Position Summary: Reporting to the Assembly/Paint Supervisor and Leads, this person will perform manual labor to assemble different types of farm equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assemble equipment according to specifications using pneumatic, hand, and power tools.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting quality product deficiencies.
- Accurately complete inspection sheets and use measuring devices.
- Perform equipment changeovers.
- Support necessary action to increase and promote throughput and on-time delivery.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- The tasks listed above are not intended to limit other tasks that might reasonably be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must be able to reach, push, pull and climb over and under project.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to operate hand tools; including air wrenches.
- Must be able to read part numbers and follow written assembly instructions.
