JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Summer Maintenance Helper will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance department with light duty tasks to maintain the Art’s Way facility.
Essential Functions

- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas
- Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, clean restrooms, etc.
- Locate and pull materials and supplies
- Clean up outside yard area
- The tasks listed above are not intended to limit other tasks that might reasonably be assigned as necessary.
Work Environment
Throughout the summer months, the employee may be exposed to hot and humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud; hearing protection is required in all areas of the plant, 100% of the time.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 10 pounds frequently; and occasionally 20 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time, temporary position for the 2023 Summer. Days of work will be Monday through Friday, hours to be determined.
Skills and Requirements
- Steel/Composite Toe Shoes/Boots are required
- Applicant must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Organizational Skills
- Team-Oriented
- Good Attendance and Punctuality
